Round 13 ~ The Party is Fine
The zombrat in 12ll attacks Valda, rolling a natural 1. Followed by another natural 1. Because the zombrat isn't using a weapon, it impales itself on the end of Valda's sword. Turns out, Valda was combat effective; just by standing there, she was something the zombrat could kill itself on.
The other zombrat rolls a 6 and misses Mikael.
Bad, bad round for DMs. Hmpf. Round 13.
The slime-feces creature is stunned and takes no action.
Following the party's move, the positions are:

I take two swings at the zombrat.
1st attack roll: 1 - 1 = 0
1st damage roll: 1
2nd attack roll: 5 - 2 = 3
2nd damage roll: 2
What do I do on a 1?
Is it possible for me to move to 1413?
(Also, resistant to non magical attack monster? )
Check the fumbles table on the wiki, Mikael. A natural 1 is a fumble. Note the post above. If a fumble is rolled, you have to,
a) check to see if the weapon is broken.
b) see where the weapon ends up.
c) end all other attacks and actions that round.
So, your dart breaks on a 1 in 6. Roll a six-sided die.
Just so we're clear, an adamantium sword doesn't count as magical, right?
Lothar backs up to 1310. "Embla! We need your axe!"
1413 is the marble floor of the next room, so yes, you can move to 1413 with 3 action points.
It seems to be resistant to non-magical weapons. When you hit with the shillelagh, the weapon was magical. Now, because you're first level, the magic is gone.
That's correct about adamantium.
D6: 4
D8: 3
Valda moves to 1010 and swing at that rat as well.
Attack: 12
Damage: 2
Valda hits.
That comment confused me, Mikael. Please, remember that I'm dealing with a lot of details and I forget half of what I write to players. Go ahead and tell me your d6 roll is a break or not (it isn't).
I usually roll where the weapon ends, but I'll take your roll. You see from the fumbles table that the dart is in the zombrat's hex.
Engelhart is in limbo. Just waiting on Embla; we usually lose her around this time of the day ... I'm going to give her twenty minutes before moving on.
I get as close to 1311 as possible in order to attack the orc-thing with my axe.
I move to 1413 (can't hurt it, but I may block an eventual retreat)
That counts as everyone, with Engelhart in suspension. Working on the update.
The next post is up.
I can't see it...
I meant to write, the post above is updated. Muscle memory.
NOW the next post is up.
